View Full Version : How do i get Gamespy to recognize my Xbox

I am having trouble with gamespy. it doesn't reckognize my xbox and i have it connected to port 3 on my router. I can get into a room and ready up, but everyone else starts without me... This sucks. I really need help with this.

I click on a game i want to join and i get in, but as soon as everyone gets ready, they get into the match and i am still there, alone. I had this one window pop up and it said something like, Xbox detecteed: Not yet. i want it to detect my xbox so i can play tonight.

cuz if u do..then they launch it..
a new window will pop up
and thats the GS tunnel window
it has all the users who are in...
and it says stuff like xbox detected...
and packets loss and stuff

ueah i get all that. does it matter what port the cable from teh back of the xbox is in?

yo
that pic is gamespy tunnel man...
once u get to there...
u go to your xbox...
go to multiplayer or wateva
then go to system link play...
pick your player...
a game should pop up...
then u press A to join the game...
then u are in

I get it to work everytime and i lost my first real game, 1 on 1 with cow_tipping_platypus, 22-25 with rockets only in the map longest

because i clicked on playerspy and searched [XBA]-Maximus and Maximus and no search results were found

My Gamespy ID is [XBA]-Maximus, however, while playing Halo on your Television, your screen will often say "Killed by Maniac" ;) hehe

I'm not sure why playerspy didn't find my nickname...I wonder if I actually have to be on-line at the time. I'm at work now, so, of course, I can't play...I'll have to wait until I get home. If I go on earlier, I'll just PM you and let you know. But, look for me at 9:00pm PST for sure, becaue, I will definately be there with my Shotgun on :D

I left my xbox at home. i am visiting my mom for the day.

I will be back at about 7:00 to 8:00 definately 9:00. We vs 1on1 and then team up against two or more others

oh thanks about that name thing. I am either Daniel J*, DanieLuda* or Al Gore.
