Okay but did you like Dead or Alive 3 THAT much that you really are eager to buy Dead or Alive 4??...The fighting engine needed MORE I think...Dead or Alive has always been basically the same since its inception. :rolleyes:

Man, I can't wait till DOA4 comes out!!! But ya, I do think they could have addad a helll of a lot more characters in the last DOA. I aslo think they should have added some special moves and high-level stages. But Tekken has got to be the worst fighting game so-called series ever made. They have got the worst square-grafics in history!! I hate Tekken, always have!!!:mad: :mad: :mad:

um, actually tekken is a really good series, obviously u havent played tekken 3, it is much better than doa3 (gameplay wise).:D

Uhh....Ya I've played that stupid game. Bin playin' it since it first came out (only in the arcade though - I would never play a PoS2 - I don't play anymore now that Playdium put SC in it's place)
Anyway the game is sh*t man. The grafics suck A*S, they are nothing comared to DOA3, and same goes for the game play. If you like it so much, then go play your sh*t PoS2 and get the fuk outta here!!!:mad: :mad: :mad:

um, that game is on the original psx, and it is better than doa3. it has a better story and stuff, and graphics arent everything in a game, and by the way, i do own an xbox, and i consider it to be the best system out there

actually, tekken 3 is only on the original psx, get your facts straight buddy. and i think that it is a better fighting game than doa3. it is much more in depth and stuff. it has alot of fun game modes and alot of things to unlock. i played tekken 3 way more than i play doa3

well, it actually makes a big difference, doa3 has like no depth, and i played that game for a total of about a week, now tekken 3, that game has alot of depth, and ive played that game for a few months

hmmm, tekken 3 has a way better arcade mode, it has alot of unlockable modes (doa3 has none), it has some unlockable characters (doa3 has 1), it has a better storyline (doa3's isnt as good). just face it, doa3 isnt the best fighting game ever created, that may be your opinion, but its not mine

Doa3 has a good storyline if u have played the first ones and it is a lot funner than tekken. There is actually more than 10 moves for each character like in tekken games.

I got the Japanese Version of Tekken4 last week and I have to say it rocks! Basically the graphics are %100 the same, the only difference is that the PlayStation2 version is a little smoother on the edges, but if you don’t like it (which I don’t know why you wouldn’t) you can go to options and turn it off and have the good old arcade jags (hmmm… actually it looks pretty cool too if you got use to the arcade version (like me)). There are all kinds of free stuff, and this is the Japanese version they usually don’t have this much extras on it, anyway expect the U.S. version to have lots more extras because it’s practically coming out 7 months later (you bet I will get the U.S. version as well). I will tell you only this much Tekken Force Mode is back and in kicks the first ones @55, but the other extras I won’t spoil it for yah.

About the Tekken versus Dead or Alive argument. Dead or Alive has never even gotten close to the success that Tekken has achieve. There is a good reason that Dead or alive2 and 3 never even made it to the North American arcades, cause they new no one would care. In terms of dept Tekken beats Dead or Alive’s @55 big time. Now in terms of graphics when comparing Dead or Alive3 to Tekken4, Dead or Alive3 does look better, but in my humble opinion not by much, I can personally say Dead or Alive3 just looks about 1.3 times better in graphics (technically). I happen to find the character models in Tekken4 more interesting and pleasing to the eye, I don’t really dig the anime style that the Dead or Alive characters have. Plus story wise Tekken4 will deliver 3 folds more than the previous Tekkens, in this one there is a story mode…oops it slipped out my mouth but anyway Tekken fans of the Arcade wont be disappointed it’s a %100 port and then some (lots of extras).

Tekken 4 is my favorite fighting game, with Capcom vs. SNK 2 at close second. And to answer the question, Tekken 4 will be PS2 exclusive, which sucks.
