Hey all,

Was just checking out info on the Xbox web site and ran across this article discussing the current status of online play from Microsoft for the Xbox.

Looks as though they may be getting closer to having their online service up and running. No info on pricing or such, looks as though they are saving all that info for E3.

Yeah...this was posted yesterday...pretty good stuff! Very interesting numbers when it comes to how bad ass the technology is going to be! I'm really looking forward to seeing more info as it becomes available! :)

Do you guys think we will actually be playing our games online in May? Im thinking probably more like June.

Posted yesterday? Damn! Leftovers again!!

Hehe, seriously though, I must have missed it.

I'm thinking more along the lines of ty818 though, most likely
late May or June before we really see any online action from MS.

I'm checking tomorrow with my cable modem provider about
upgrading my online service. They are saying for ten bucks
extra a month they will upgrade my service and guarantee
my bandwith to be 384KB upload speed and I believe 768KB
download speeds just to be ready for when it does happen.

Bring on Unreal Championship!!!

Yeah, looks like they are saving all the juicy stuff for E3.

I wouldn't be surprised if they actually put off the online
system for another couple of months to allow more online
tittles to be ready for the launch.

What I'm really interested in is how are they going to
get NTSC and PAL systems to synch together well enough
to allow players from all over the globe to play together.
