Can u tell me, with the Xbox not holding its time does the Xbox not have a cmos chip?
For those of u who are saying it does hold its time, then u r right, but it only holds it for so long when its unpluged. I know the longer u play the more the battery gets charged.. Does anyone now how long the time/settings stays for, roughly that is?

Also have u seen the game strident? I seen a post here a few days ago about it and so I downloaded a movie…OOOOOOH man this game looks Hotter then Kylies hot pants!!!
For those who want to c the movie then use the link (I know its not game play but dam still looks nice)

I think the longest I've had mine unplugged was 5 hours roughly and it still held the time. Yeah, I think it's weird that they wouldn't have made it so the time stays but what can ya do. Leave er plugged in.

You would think that there is some sort of backup battery,
otherwise you would possibly have to reset all settings,
video, sound etc....

Why MS thought it would be cute to have the clock reset after
being unplugged for an extended period of time is beyond me.

Although, if having to reset the clock forces more people to
leave the Xbox plugged in all the time, people would be more
likely to play it more often if its ready to go.

I see now.....its an evil plot by the MS Marketing division to
force us into playing more games!!!!!!

This has been extensively covered in MPX, and is probably also addressed in the unofficial faq (www.xbox.faq.info)

Although I pretend to know the answer, I am forgetful and known to partake of the spirits now and again (mostly right now)

The one thing that I can recall is that due to all the problems with the DC internal battery, MS did not want to do it the same way. Someone posted about 5 hours. Those that I have read who timed it have listed it at 4.

Drunk, but well-intentioned. BTW I know what time it is, but I work graveyard.

I DON"T HAVE A PROBLEM. I DON'T
