Xbox online lan hub question

What hub do you guys use. im looking to get a really cheap hub and i dont know what to buy. also i looked into one of those 4 port linsys hubs for like 30 bucks, but how do you connect your xbox and computer to those and modem. i need some instructions, ive read the gamespy arcade stuff but am still confused. can someone help me out.

First off, any hub will work fine. On every hub there will be an uplink port. You connect your modem to this port. Then jsut plug your xbox and pc into two other ports and your ready to go. Its that simple:) Also, the Linksys hub is a good choice for $30.

And here is the more detailed info you requested(All cables need to be regular CAT-5 cable, NOT crossover cable):

Cable 1: Connect from your modem to the 'uplink' port on the hub
Cable 2: Conenct from your PC network card to and empty port on the hub
Cable 3: Connect from your xbox to another empty port on the hub

ok sounds good. so the hubs with just 4 ports right next to each other will work fine. sounds good i may buy one soon
