which game should every xbox fan get this year?

2002? I REALLY hope that Brute Force lives up to it's billing... I also woulda made a case for Project Ego, but when I heard it's just 20 hoursa gameplay, it took a rapid nosedive in my book.

Hunter: The Reckoning is my darkhorse though. Evidently it's supposed to play host to some of the best multiplayer EVER. Can argue with that, can ya?

Where did you pick up the info that it was so short? I've understood it to be a long epic.... Maybe I'm wrong. But to my knowledge project ego is still expected to be a HUGE game...

I am starting to believe that the only reason Halo is number one is because almost all xbox players are first person shooter fans, well, what about other people in this world who are not big first person fans. If you have a XBOX and you don't have halo there is something wrong. Halo is the best game out for the xbox. Other than Halo Spiderman is not too bad and I expect Elder Scrolls III Morrowind will be badass.

ENCLAVE! I forgot about that one as well. Enclave has to be one of the best looking games man has ever made. The screenshots alone make me want to have an orgasam right here in this chair...it's astonishing, the amount of bump mapped textures...surely NO nother system can handle that game...most computers would probably not be able to handle it!

For me, the one game I HAVE to have this year is BF:1942.

Of course that is only if it lives up to the hype i've built up in my mind. Seems to me that it will be like HALO but with shooting people. Not that I'm some kind of sadistic moth*erf*cker, but I just prefer more reality.

Who knows? I certainly don't. But look for Christmas to bring a bunch of great titles out.

Yes, I was over my friends house the day he got it...it looks like nothing special...just abother boring, linear, third person shooter that will get old very fast. Nobody talks about it anymore for the PoS2...because they are sick and tired of it already.

I had bought Max Payne for my PC and it was a fun game and looked GREAT. I recently got the new xbox mag, and it had the demo of Max Payne so I thought I'd try it out... and within 30 secs I turned it off. I thought the graphics were great, just the controls licked hard!

Top games on Xbox Of Course Halo, I think Madden 2002 was a great game but would probably buy nfl fever 2003 this year if I was to get another football game. Rallysport is probably the best racer with PGR a close second. Some people like DOA3 but just a pure button masher,"chicks are hot though". I don't hardly hear anyone ever talk about AMPED but that is a great game "PURE FUN". I am a big sports FANATIC and look forward to World Series 2k3 coming exclusively to XBOX from sega. I havent played Triple Play 2002 or Allstar2003 but I don't hear good things about them. My best advice is spend your money on Xbox exclusive titles that are good and pick up the ported games that are good second hand later on. At least you will be utillizing the hardware that you got and ensure the survival of XBOX as a viable gaming platform. Besides they are usually the best games, and I can't afford blowing Fifty bucks on some garbage.
