While recieving various magazines in the mail recently, i came across a FAO Schwarz catalog, a very big and international toy company that is highly regarded. I flipped to the back, knowing thats where all the cool stuff is, and the first page i flipped to was the gamecube page. I laughed at it for a while and started on my way, and i happened across the Xbox ad as well. I found the differences in the stance on the two consoles to be quite amusing, so i HAD to show you guys, so without further ado, here they are in my hard working, hand typed style :)

G NINTENDO GAME CUBE. The most powerful Nintendo game system ever developed, the Game Cube is small enough to be portable, powerful enough to play the most challenging games, and boasts optical disc technology for more responsive gaming and optimum hardware performance. One Game Cube controller included. November delivery. Ages 8 and up. $219.99

GAME CUBE CONTROLLER $39.99 GAME CARTRIDGES. $59.99 each SMASH BROTHERS MELEE. LUIGI'S MANSION. PIKMIN.

Then here's xbox's writeup in the same magazine 4 pages further.

F X-BOX GAME SYSTEM GIFT SET. This is it, the game console everybody is talking about. X-box is powered by a 733 Mhz Intel processor and a seperate 250 MHz NVIDIA graphics processor, for three times the performance of other consoles. An Ethernet port makes online gaming fast and furious via broadband, and you can save games on the 10 GB hard drive. Other features include four controller ports, a front-loading DVD tray, 64 MB of memory, plus an 8 MB memory card that lets you take saved games on the road, to play on another X-box console. The gift set includes the X-box, two controllers and three games (NFL Fever, Oddworld : Munch's Oddysey, Gotham). All in all, this is one impressive machine. And it's from Microsoft. November delivery. Ages 14 and up. $539.99

Woo ha! Well there ya have it, looks like the worlds biggest toy store is backing up the xbox like crazy! This also confirms the HD to be 10 GB not 8 GB, and puts the 233 Mhz rumor to rest.
