just wondering what every one thinks about the new superman videogame coming out on XBOX .????

as for me im thinking its going to be pretty cool just cause of the fact of superman flying that is going to be phat . hahahahaha

like lets say, batman how he shoots his bat grapple to get up on buildings, spiderman shoots his web, but superman he gets to fly all day non stop.!!!!
dont get me wrong, i mean im a fan of both of them and have spiderman's and batman's game. BUT superman can fly and fly fast....!!!!
So far on what i know about superman's videogame is that he is going to have seven talents as for , super speed when flying , heat vision , super strength , X-ray vision , telescope vision , frost breath , & speed running.
and another thing that i also liked is that its only on XBOX.

The game looks like its coming along quite nicely( alot better than that crappy Cell Shaded Superman title for PS2). I got the behind the scenes feature on my OXM and it is going to be quite the game. You can utilize "ALL" of Supermans abilities and solve problems/dilemas with various solutions keyed on his powers. This game will be a huge title and anyone that feels the need to criticize a title that isn't even out need to stop being so damn biased.

So i have just now heard something about superman dont know if its a rumor or if its the trues. !!!!
and i hate rumors cause you have no idea if its true or not. LOL!!!! I have heard that that some people in different areas are already playing superman and if thats true there the ones who knows the hole scoop on how superman looks and how it plays.
but if its not true oh well i'll still wait for the Supermans game to come out to check out or my self. :)

I know i want a superman hero game in the future fly around check out the sinerey and out how the game looks when flying and fighting in the air. Thats going that be cool useing his unlimeted powers at all times.

Superman's release date is in August 2002 and i still can't wait to play that game.

I saw it in gampro magazine (i usually dont buy magazines except xbox magazine cuz internet is superior) and it is called "Superman: Shadow Of Apokolips" it look exactly the same except superman is a little more cell shadeyey

From what I have seen, Superman: The Man of Steel is gonna be sweet. The screens I have seen and everything I have heard from Infogrames has already washed the bitter aftertaste of Superman 64 from our mouths. Those crazy Frenchmen could have made the same game for both the PS2 and Xbox, but instead have two unique titles that both look stunning. Of course, gameplay is the true test of any game. I will have to see if this is the dream-come-true Superman title we've been waiting for or another crappy use of a license.

nah but back to superman's game. Every thing that there are doing with this game looks real good. As a lot of us gamers would think SO. Even though there are a lot of gamers out there that dont think this game dont look really good or is not going to be a hit for the XBOX. I had recently got my OXM demo in and i was checking out the back sence of the making of Superman's game . There were talking about what he is going to be able to do and also showing little clips of how its going to look....So far so good !

I love the Xbox. I think it has superior graphics "capablity" when compared to the PS2. However, it does not look like this game is going to be good "graphically" in my opinion. The reason is this: superman does not appear to "fit" in the scenes. If you look at the lighting on him compared to the lighting on everything else, it does not look like he fits. IMO: this is a major problem. If you look at the PS2 scenes, while cell shaded and not great graphics, at least Superman appears to be part of the scene. The Xbox version appears as though they did the scene in a fairly decent 3d engine and then statically rendered superman independent of the scene. I'm not sure why they'd go this route (unless superman is not rendered but is more of a sprite (ACK!)).

If you do not think that is a viable arguement against the product, please state specifically why you do not think so. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but opinions should be based on some facts. "Because I think so" is not a reason to think a certain way. Something has to cause you to think that way. If you can not explain why you think a certain way, maybe that line of thinking needs to be re-examined. Does it appear to you in the screenshots that Superman belongs in thoses scenes? When I look at the screenshots it looks like Superman is glowing. To the best of my recollection Superman does not glow...

When I state that he is glowing this is probably not the best way to say it. What I mean is that the only things in any of the scenes that are as bright as Superman are light sources. Most of the "real world" objects are colored pretty dull. Superman is not. Almost like they used a different palette for Superman. As far as which images I am making this comment on: all of the Xbox ones. At least most of them. There were one or two where the problem was not as pronounced as others (mostly because there were a lot of visible light sources in the image such as him and the sunset). This detracts in my opinion from the graphical appeal of the game. It almost looks as if he is a sprite (in other words - he's not part of the 3d scene).

In GameInformer a few months back they had an article on Superman for Xbox. The reason Superman looks out of place is because the game is about 75-80% done. They still have to shade the characters, add bump-mapping, particle effects, and lighting. The screenshots are still raw. Superman is still going to be a bit brighter than the backgrounds when the game is released, but that is puposeful. The city is taken over by Braniac-13, so it is going to be a bit dark and ominous. Superman represesnts the ultimnate good, a hero in shining tights! This is not a graphical letdown, it's part of the theme of the game.

Im am just quessing right know ..BUT ..if i am correct the last time i checked it ..it had said the realease date on this game of Superman's was Nov 5, 2002..

Oh yeah and about that Project Ego game that you mentioned that game will probably turn out real good im hoping..Probably when that game does come out i will probably want that game also..There saying it will probably turn out like the next Final Fantasy.. and to say all that ....Thats pretty good..

The real reason i keep righting about Superman ..Is i have never played no game at all what so ever of Supermans.... and ever seens i was younger i grew up liking his movie's , cartoons and etc.. :D and know i got the XBOX and hear that superman is going to be on the BOX ..know that news was phucking great ....Super good grafics..hahahah

Thtas cool how u actually have supermans powers and its like real superman not guy in superman suit that can only fly for 15 seconds, has 1 laser per level, and cant even kill a rat. This game he has all the powers super strength, ability to fly, xray vision,etc.
