Whats this I hear?

I was in my computer shop yesterday looking for a new motherboard ask mine is just taking the pi$$ anyway I had a chat with one of the guys in there and asked if he was going to get an XBOX he said NO I asked why and he said that there was an emulator out for the XBOX I said your talkin shyt but he kept going on about it, but within this conversation he said he was getting on for his kid, I asked why and he said he wouldn't let his kid get anywhere near his PC.

Now I'm a bit puzzled as I'm not sure was he telling the truth or what?:confused:

shadowfox should know the answer to this... ive been on a few emuator sites in the last few weeks, and I saw something that said xbox emmulator... but usually those are links that go through endless sites, and never have a real emulator

i only use emulators on dead systems like SNES... and i use it to see if i should be a game for my GBA

I use ZSNES (SNES emulator) almost every day. I play the same game, SFPWXP. One of the best wrestling games ever.

There is no Xbox emulator and there won't be one for quite some time to come. All the ones you've seen or where you can actually download a "working" program do absolutely nothing.

i used zsnes for megaman, zelda, and chronotrigger until i got my xbox. i havent really played it that much xcept when im on a trip on my laptop. but i use my gba now:cool:

I think it's just a ruse right now so people will hit their sites, etc. For instance, a friend of mine who is heavily into computers wanted to borrow an XBox game so he could try 2 different emulators he found on the internet. I said ok knowing the end result. I let him use DOA3 which the emulator documentation claimed was supported. I told him it wasn't going to work, that it was probably just an interface. He didn't believe me and went on and on how it was so easy to emulate the Xbox. Big surprise, it didn't work, it just gave an error saying he didn't have an XBox game inserted. He has a second emulator, again same claims as the first. Different interface this time. He tries it and low and behold it did absolutely nothing. This is lame, people will make fake crud up and many people will believe it. Well I guess they should believe them, after all they are some reputable sites, with names like pornhackers.com, porn-n-emulators.com, freepornandxboxemulators.com. Alot of these emulators are just VB front ends. Nothing behind them. If you want I'll slap up an interface and then your friends can claim they don't need an XBox because they can just use my emulator. If anyone pulls this XBox emulator nonesense, then I'll dismiss it completely until it's actually running on my PC right before my very eyes. I won't accept anything less.

Too right mate I agree pirates bugger up everything they killed the Dreamcast and now there trying the same thing with the XBOX glad you told them to buy there own machine, I mean it now only cost £199 well over here in the UK it does and I know the price was put down in Australia as well, so you tell them to kiss your hairy a$$ mate and get the own LOL :D

yea, and we wont be runnin an xbox emulator anytime soon, for the ps2 emulator, u need a really fast comp, and for an xbox one, you would need a wicked fast one, not to mention the geforce 2 or whatever. its cheaper to buy an xbox than to upgrade your pc to use an xbox emulator (when they come out, if they come out):D
