Halo Wins Four
AIAS Awards
At the 5th annual Interactive Achievement Awards, the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences (AIAS) honored Halo with four awards:
Console Action/Adventure Game of the Year
Console Game of the Year
Outstanding Achievement in Visual Engineering
Game of Year
In addition, Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee also received the award for Outstanding Achievement in Animation, and Flight Simulator 2002 received the Computer Simulation Game of the Year award. The awards presentation was held in Las Vegas at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on February 28.

Halo not only walked away with the IGNXbox Editors' Choice Best Game of 2001 honors, but it also won the following Editors' Choice Awards:
Best Action Game
Best Graphics
Best Sound
Best Story
