Which Controller??

im just curious which controller you think is more comfortable to hold.....don't pick xbox cuz you like the ststem, pick which you TRULEY think is more comfy..

xbox because gamecube looks too small and all the small handed freaks are *****ing about how big the xbox controller is... i found the DC controll to be a tad small... and the N64 one to be a bit better (but i've held a n64 controller for years, so i may have forgotten the size)

i think nintendos controller is the best. not gamecube plan old

i read somewhere else and it said that not that many toysrus locations have the GC cuz nintendo didnt make enough or something so they're givin the other places videos of the GC in action

Why was everyone complaning about how M$ stole the controller design from DC and pressure sensitive idea from Sony. When the GC controller looks EXACTLY like the PS's, everybody looks the other way! The same thing with 2 buttons switched around.

where do you think sony got the idea for the PSX controller? They stole it from the SNES.

Nintendo are, and always have been the inovators in the industry.
Also, everyone acuses Nintendo of stealing the 'rumble motor in the conbtroler' idea from the PSX, but the PSX just stole Nintendo's idea for the Rumble pack and Improved it.
Also, when PSX first came out, it had no analogue stick, so after N64 came out with one, Sony decided to copy Nintendo.
Nintendo hasn't copied anything from Sony. Nintendo created pretty much everything in the video game industry.
Without Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft never would have entered the video game market.


Anyways, how can you compare the X-Box controller to the GC controller? I don't know from personal experience, but absolutely everyone who's held both says the GC controller is much better.
The button layout is so simple and effective, whereas the XBox controller is so big, and looks uncomfortable, not to mention it's just a ripoff of other controllers. Microsoft is not innovative at all, whereas Nintendo always has been the innovator of the industry.

Actually, i beg to differ. I have held the GC controller. It feels hollow and cheap, not solid at all. The C button thing is cool though, but thats about it. I have also held the xbox one and its big and solid and fits normal peoples hands. I dont think you can really talk unless you have personally held the controllers

if the GC pad is any size near that of the PS1, it's too small. those pads end up cramping my big hands and causing pain when playing too much.
personally, i'm glad to see the Xbox having a larger controller. i've heard nothing but good things from those who have used the Xbox pad. plus MS is not new to making gaming pads, i think they have made a few of them before. i just hope their buttons are better than many found on their PC game pads, they have often had crappy PC game pad buttons.

Thanks for explaining that heyyoudvd. Out of all controllers, DC was the best ('cept for the cord sticking out it's as.s). Perfect weight, didn't feel cheep, and was unique. it felt the most natural in my hands, and that's why i like the Xbox's Controller design. I just hope it feels "sturdy", able to be stepped on, kicked, and ripped out of the console when someone trips over the cord. The more buttons the better. Oh yeah, someone earlier said that buttons on the psx are too close. It can get worse (check out the button layout for Tony hawks' 1 on N64).

Well, I can't choose cause I haven't personally touched or held either one. But I must say that EGM said that the gc was a good one, while the xbox controller needed the buttons a bit farther apart.

But till I hold both, I won't be able to tell you an honest opinion. And I loved the DC controller so xbox will prolly be awesome.
