The World Cup 2002 is closing in fast and like every great sporting event videogames are made. Majesco and UK-based developer Rage Software announced that David Beckham Soccer, the latest in the recent line-up of games based around the World Cup, would be making a its North American debut on Xbox, PlayStation, Game Boy Advance and Game Boy Color in time for the World Cup 2002.
David Beckham Soccer features 200 international and club teams, motion-captured player animations, an advanced free kicks system that lets players select several set-plays, special hidden teams handpicked by David Beckham and in-game commentary from Ron Atkinson and Jonathan Pearce. The game also has a Season Mode that lets players play five full seasons, gameplay modes such as Beat Brazil, Classic Match and Train with Beckham and Xbox exclusive additions such as a stadium builder and Create-A-Player features.
