It's for developing Microsoft Internet Explorer applications and applets....in java, I think....

The Xbox SDK, or software development kit, is only open to software developers that have registered with Microsoft. This is the kit the game developers use to make the Xbox games.

It has libs and documentation and testing/debugging materials that they need to port to or develop for the Xbox.

Common people don't really have this to use.

...I'm trying to read xbox's DVD content and don't know how to use it...*argh* :(

I believe Xbox's SDK is called XDK.
And its actuallly pritty cool, u can browse the game DVDs, If u r smart enough, may be u can create a small game or application too.
