Can you do other stuff on your computer, like just minimize xbconnect while playing halo through xbconnect and beable to do whatever you want without it making it slower?

when using xbc u should close down all other programs, especially ones that involve internet....like p2p file sharers or instant messangers........:eek:

this helps from laggin up the game, whether ur hosting or if u joined.........:D

While using xbconnect and playing, can you use other programs on your computer or surf the internet or type something up without the internet getting slow or without screwing up your comp?

you may....but is not recommended.

if you are hosting a game in xbconnect while downloading drom the internet, the clients in your game will suffer if not you also.

it would slow down speeds in any case, as any internet application including XBConnect is using up the same bandwidth.

When you have xbconnect running your really not going to be using your pc unless your family member wants to go online. Try and play at a time when noone wi;ll; tie it up. I was playing HALO when my little bro decided he wanted to play CS and it lagged me all up. Unless you have a T3 connection at home run only xbconnect and turn off aim, p2p, and any other internet stuff that might be going on.
