Just finished watching it. Pretty good, although I was ****ed off about the 2nd segment, where they talked about the evil influence of video games on our poor impressionable children. What crap. I guess it's a PC rule, if you're talking about video games, you are obligated to talk about the corrupting effect of violent images on children. Blah blah. I get really tired of hearing that.

But the rest of the show was pretty good. I was suprised to see Xbox featured -- nice zoom0in and discussion of online features, plus a little demo! I liked seeing motion capture being done, and I liked the feature about the tournaments (where does the prize money come from?)...the whole show in general was good in the way it moved away from the "gamer as geek" stereotype, showing all the atheletes gaming, etc.

Ya, when those two Q-Bs played...I was amazed! It looked like it was fun, fast, and easy!

The Indianapolis Colts Quaterback-Peyton Manning v. Seattle Seahawcks Q-B. The Seahawks QB won, 63-40. The played with the "XBox Communicator." But as I mentioned earlier, it looked fast, easy, fun, and lag free! It was cool, cause they were talkin trash and just having fun!

I am sooooo exited!

Did they show them setting it up on the computer? If so, was the interface of it cool?

Err...maybe I should just watch it tomorrow...but the Lakers are on during when they show it again.

No pc! Ya, that is what is cool about XBox live! You don't need a pc. It is all through the XBox! That is great news for me...because my XBox is in my basement, while my PC is upstairs, so whenever I play Halo online, I have to get my running shows on.
But, it did not show too much of the interface...infact, it did not show hardly any. But what they did show looked awesome!

Surely you need your computer for SOMETHING...wont we? Are we going to set up games through our TV?

Ahhh, hurry up E3!

Xtopia

Nope...In fact, there are some people who are just getting a broadband connection, even though they don't even have a PC! All you need is the broadband service and a cable/dsl etc modem!
go to www.xbox.com...and do some research, you should be able to find out more than what I can tell you. Or call 1800-4my-xbox...I call there all the time when I have questions. They are very helpfull and knowledgable.
