View Full Version : Does Any Body else have truoble with XBConnect?

Whenever i download XBConnect (the newest version) and i go to open it up, and error pops-up and I end up having to re-boot my computer. I'm using gamespy, and it's great, but i hear good things about XBConnect and i was wonderin if someone could tell me whats goin on. Thanks.

You might want to try posting the in the Official XBConnect Technical Support Forum, located exactly 1 forum below this one where the XBC makers can help you with your question! :)

XBConnect seems to be very unstable...
I shut down all memory resident software such as firewalls, anti virus software, mouse cursors, screen savers etc...
I often experience that XBC freezes... when joining a new game.
I get around this by logging off and then on again prior to joining a new game... VERY ANNOYING!!! but it works...

We have had issues with other tunnel software installing an old version of Winpcap and causing issues with the software. Xbconnect uses the latest update on each release.


To get it to work orrectly you need to Remove XBconnect...Remove WinpCap (all versions that may be there in Add remove programs.)

Reinstall Xbconnect.


Becareful using tunnel soft such as Xboxnet.org ect... THis can cause errors in the code lines since they contain old versions of WinpCap
