I called about my controller not working and now i have to send it in. how long does it take?

why do you people send **** into microsoft to get fixed.....damn it return the controller or xbox it will cost less and you will get it back the same day!

i cant i opened it and i have a warranty with MS

I called them too and said I would send them my controller to be fixed, but instead I went to wal-mart and got a new controller in 10 minutes...they will take anything back for exchange...

Doesn't matter if you open it. If it's in the return/exchange window and it's defective, mostly all stores will exchange it for another one. You just can't get a refund.

yeah but i dont have a receipt and it would be a little better if i had the box so i can put the controller in it and a bag

My brother's friend sent his Xbox in for repairs - two days later he got a brand new Xbox in the mail instead! Or else they're just that fast.

Thank god someone on here has some common sense!

My controller got stuck, so I took it to Target and had a new one 5 min later.

Microsoft would take weeks.
