Funny thing is, it says click da link, but their aint no freakin link to click!

maybe this is MS saying thank you to some of da gamers who dropped $300.00 on the Xbox?

Greenfield (from that email address) seem to be a real survey/marketing/research company (http://www.greenfield.com/) and claims to have MS as one of their clients, so it could be legit.

My first instinct was to say that it's spam or a virus, but I'm not so sure now.

From their site:
"Now you can fulfill your most demanding sampling needs, quickly and cost- effectively. Partner with Greenfield Online and tap into our MSN "river" sampling capability."

Maybe not, but I guess they would have to identify you as the recipient of the email somehow. That's the way we do it when we send out surveys.

It should work for everyone, because I can take the survey with another email address, but it says i have already taken if I use my personal email address

10 lucky participants... a little bit of a rip off.

I got a $15 Amazon.com gift certificate for evaluating MS's websites about 2-3 months ago. It took about 45-60 minutes. There was no drawing for that and everybody got paid.(there was a pop-up when I went to microsoft.com)

Shows that MS cares about the users' opinions and is willing to pay for it.

So this survey is very likely legitimate.

Didn't get the email from xbox.com but then I never registered my xbox.

It sounds kind of cool to me. I like the MOXI media center better, but for $29 I would buy this kit if I didn't have to buy a special PC to use it.

You know...it just occured to me that this device could be used to backup your XBOX hard drive to a PC. Wouldn't that be nice?

I too got the email and took the survey.

Looks like MS is going to further enhance the Xbox through use of some kind of Xbox "ready" PC. Personally, I'd rather see an accessory that allows the Xbox to be used as a Tivo-type device or an MP3 player.
