Has anyone heard confirmation from Digital Illusions that this game will be online for XBox? I heard they were supposed to announce this at E3, but I haven't seen anything in the news postings.

I haven't heard. But, EA is publishing the game. I'm sure you know all about EA and their stance with regard to Xbox, so even if it is online, the chances of it being online for Xbox are slim to none.

ah damn after more searching i found evidence to disprove that the ulti will be for the box..looks like its just pc version..
The PC version will feature a unique, robust multi-player component that will support up to 64 players on certain maps. Playing as several infantry classes, gamers will also be able to use many of the hand weapons used in World War II while commanding numerous land, sea and air vehicles. Gamers will be able to join forces and fight as a team with select vehicles, such as the bomber or battleship. For example, the B-17 bomber will offer a pilot/bombardier station and two separate gunner positions.

Arg, it better/and most likely will beat the likes of Medal of Honor Frontline (at least the PS2 version). IMO MOHF controlled just like JB AUF, WHICH IS NOT GOOD!

I've sent an e-mail to Digital Illusions to try to persuade them to use XBox Live for this game if they haven't already. If we all do the same thing, maybe they will realize that there is a market for this game, and it could be the "killer app" for XBox Live. Send e-mails to:
info@dice.se

Thanks!!

Good news! I read in the Official Xbox magazine that this title will have multiplayer since it was built from the ground up as a multiplayer title. The question still remains... Online, or just Lan? I could live with Lan, but obviously Online is where it's at!
