it's about the same, some games are a little less, some are a little more. The avg. price for new games is about $74 CDN, which is $50 USD, you might be able to find some deals though.

Last I checked, WalMart had Cel Damage for $30 Canadian, and Futureshop had Oddworld, NBA Live and Madden for $30 each. Other than that, same prices.

the taxes will kill any deals you find anyways

from a Canadian's point of view, your better off buying the games in your country...

its that damn 15% tax rate :(

Alberta only has 7% GST (we don't have PST) :D

so, overall, everything is cheaper here :D

if you wanted to buy a xbox game for $69.99 in any other provience, it would cost you a total of: $80.49

but in alberta, it's only: $74.89

$5 dollars off ;)

Folks, you can get a refund of Canadian taxes in the customs office at the border. Just show them your receipts. I assume this only works for non-Canadians. :)

that's true, but most things are more expensive in Alberta to start with, my aunt and uncle always do lots of shopping when they come to Ontario, because even with the tax most stuff is cheaper.

i live in alberta and i haven't noticed that the price of things are any higher then in any other provinces. I always check the prices of stuff when im in bc and i think everything is pretty much the same price.

Cool, dude...are you driving or flying? I live in Seattle...it's on the way :D

I love going to Vancouver, British Columbia...it's an amazing city!! Just hitting the bridge that drops you down to the city is sweet! Just looking at Vancouver is bad ass!! Whistler and Blackholm ski resorts are not too far from there...bad ass resorts!

But, anyway, I doubt that you will find any deals in Canada on XBox games...everything is generally more expensive in Canada and it basically averages out to United States pricetags.
