As part of their E3 presentation, Simon & Schuster Interactive has announced the planned release of Outlaw Volleyball: Spike or Die for Xbox.
The game will feature the same characters as recent announcement Outlaw Golf as well as some new arrivals, in order to do battle on 16 different courts. It promises deformable sand, dynamic backgrounds and detailed crowds, making full use of Xbox's graphic capabilities. Multiplayer mode will include the ability for players to improve by swapping up for better team-mates as character skills increase, leading to the jilted team-mates performing better when in opposition. The game will also take advantage of the Xbox hard drive by including audio tracks that can saved directly on to the console.
