Let's not forget 2 other games that got 9.0 at IGN...

WWF Raw and Wreckless were both pieces of crap, so I tend to believe Gamespot more, but I'll have to play the game first.

I thought it was lame 7/10 the stadiums and fans are kewl but graphically the players just did not impress me. I expect more from my Xbox.

no problems with the game graphically. I thin it gets a 9.5 in that dept. But, there are just too many flaws in this game to rate it as high as OXM and IGN did.

This game, while it is the best baseball game for a console, it is about a 7.5. Just too many flaws. A good start, promising future, but this version needs to be improved.

No but this is an exception. I saw these huge threads at teamxbox talking about how biased the reviewer from Lamespot was. The fact that he gave Triple Play on the PS2 a higher rating than WSB on Xbox is one thing that no one understands. Clearly, WSB is superior to triple play. That fool Ryan McDonald should just stop reviewing because there is no damn good reason to give Triple Play higher ratings on graphics and such compared to WSB on the XBox. It just doesn't make any good sense.
