Heyo!
I've been thinking about buying MotoGP (mostly for the single player game)... But just this morning I finally got XBConnect to find my Xbox... and I was playin a little bit of Halo. I have the crappy upload speed of 128kbps, so I get lots of lag when there's like 4 people in the game. Someone in the chat room told me that MotoGP takes less bandwidth. Do you think it'd be possible to have a lagless 4 player MotoGP game with my upload speed?
Oh and also, I haven't tried hosting a game... I assume hosting a game takes more bandwidth?

Naw dude...I host with Halo with 128 upstream. It is fine as long as your opponent is nearby. But don't even try hosting 2 Xboxes!;)

moto gp doesn't require as much bandwidth as halo so yes, u can play it lag free, but bio is working on code to allow more than 2 players, he is busy with the ladder setup;)

MotoGp takes higher bandwith when more players join. After speaking with the developers, Tod and I got a picture of how much it really takes. IT is recommended you turn all AI bikes off. IT will consume to much bandwith.
The Bandwith requirements double for each player that joins. Currently most will only be able to play with 1-3 players with more then 128k Upstream. As more players are added, the packet size doubles, which can lag it out.
We are focusign on the Ladders at this time, and will begin reworking the code for MotoGP after that. Hopefully there will be a increase in performance with info that was recieved.
See you in chat..
