"The Thing" rocks! What do you guys think?

Hey y’all! I just heard about this new game and I wanna know what you all think about it. It’s called “The Thing” and it’s from that John Carpenter movie. I dunno if you watched the movie, but it looks hellah fun. It looks scary, like Resident Evil with more twists I guess. The movie was actually really good and I am curious to see what the deal is. The thing looks very impressive there was a preview of it on TV today.

can't wait to check this game out, trust plays a HUGE part in this game, i think it'll only be great the first or second time through, since when you finish it first then you would already know the twists.

I was excited for this game when I saw the preview video on the first preview issue of OXM. So excited in fact, that I got the movie that the game is based after. I'm a lot less excited for the game now though. It still seems like it will kick the asses of Silent Hill and Resident Evil, but it looks like it has the same control scheme and the same graphics.
Otherwise, bring it on!

i cant wait until this game comes out. it'll probly be a definite buy. have u seen the movie The Thing? its soooo awesome, i highly recommend watching it. but make sure u watch the one by john carpenter, and its in color, dont see the black and white version. the newer one is so awesome.:D

Well, coincidentally, I just rented that movie today. I agree this game could be a blockbuster, but kicking the crap outta Resident Evil? No way in hell. This game is slightly different anyway. I think there will be a set camera view, (speculating from screenshots) which wil take away from the suspense.
