how to use a lense to make TV picture bigger?

I remember seeing on these boards awhile back where someone took an old TV and put a big lens on the front of it. It projected a picture onto their wall and it was really cool. I've got some time and money to burn and I'm wondering how you do this. Any web site with instructions?
