Those are pretty sweet. Waaaaaaaaay better than the cel shaded version.

According to OXM, they are still using cel
shading for some things and it doesn't
stand out like it did in earlier screens.

This game is a must-buy for me.

What's with the "insert coins" text? That might make sense in the arcade but it seems unnecessary at home.

Well hopefully not, i'd like to thing they had better sense than to keep that "Insert Coin" text there....Hopefully they rectify this for the XBOX. BTW the screens look tyte!

the cell shaded version wasn't even the intended final product. The cell shading were "place holder" textures, applied just to have somethig for us to look at.

Hmmm...maybe to some extent. I think they are different enough to both enjoy great success. Futhermore, I imagine there will be a large cross section of people who buy both (like me).
