Obviously neither of you know what you're talking about, or you would realize he's not talking about XBConnect, but the actual item: Xbox Connector.

Scarlet Spider - I have no idea what it is, so I recommend doing the first way. The first way works fine for me, but I can see how it'd be hard if you don't have a pc or router.

Xbox connector is just another peice of software that does the same thing XbConnect does and the same thing LameSpy . . . err . . . GameSpy does . . .

BTW i dont know y anyone would use GameSpy over XbConnect
