If you can dodge his magic attacks you'll live ... he's down past the temple ... he's in the "Vivic Palace" furtest south in Vivic. He's in a door that unless you get a key thru the main quest, is locked 100 points and trapped. There are no ordinators around tho so if u get a good probe and an open 100 spell you can get in. :) Have fun. :D

Oh and he took three hits by my Daedric Battle Axe which hits for 80 points so I'd go find something a little more powerful first ... ;) Try and find a Daedric Battle Axe which is one of the most powerful weapons around.

Killing Vivec is thw way to straighen out a screwed-up main quest.

He has the Wraithguard, but it's inactive if you take it off his corpse. You have to take it to the blob guy in the Corprusarium and he will activate it for you if you have certain things...

i killed vivec but it didnt help me at all, i guess i thought since he was so strong that he would have some sweat weapons or amor but no:(
so i loaded the game and he is now back alive

If you kill him after he gives you the wraithguard it doesn't do anything ... you don't need him for anything after that so I had some fun and sliced him up. I got most of my Daedric Battle Axes off of Dremoras.

Oh and ya he don't have anything real good on him just some stupid Dwemer artifact ... what did you expect? He was too pu$$y to take on Lord Dagoth so they had to get you to do it. ;)

i didnt even no who lord vivec was till i read this post so i had no clue what he was all about, i havent even touched the main quest so im in the dark on most of the main plot stuff
