Ouch!! Let me see it's already...October 24th... Hmmm didn't they start production already, Gonna be hard to bug test all those X-Box's. Good for me I wasn't rich enough to buy one at launch!! I think I'll wait till it goes down to $200. If I were some of the guys getting it at launch I’ll have it insured just incase it breaks down on me, which you know first Gen. consoles always do!! Yet another bump on the road for the mighty X-Box. ;)

You really are the devil, Devil.

Your anti-xbox propaganda, though amusing for a second, simply shows how petty you are. Your lame attempt to discredit the xbox has done nothing but confirm how pathetic and desperate you really are.

You foolish, jealous little child. We'll see who laughs last when I'm on the xbox playing HALO and your just playing.... with yourself. :p

Should this be a concern for people who have preorders? Maybe It's just the Kiosks', maybe it's not the same X-Boxs' that Microsofts going to sell. ::shrugs:::rolleyes:

Hey Devil, if you want to conduct a fair post, call each and every Toys R us, Babbages, EB, Best buy across the nation that has both a PS2 and a Xbox kiosk. then ask if all of their PS2's are working. Whenever i'm at EB, their Ps2 is broken down. one article quoted 5 broken xboxes across a nation. A NATION! i think that's pretty good.

I guess nobody noticed that the second image is from an XDK(PS 2 fans don't know what that is), not the actual Xbox. That can be any error. Someone could've easily posted an "Out of Order" sign on a in-store tv and took a snap of it when it was off. We have no problems with our unit, and it gets played constantly. I know of no other places that are having problems. It's also strange how nobody else has reported problem in the open, except through Gaming Age(known for unreliable and staged information). It could be because they're afraid that the Xbox is going to wipe it's ass with the PS 2.

Btw, only Sony builds proto-types. It could explain why the PS 1 has over 20 different versions. The PS 2 is already at 4. So sad.

I have preorderd a 64 DC and P2 never had a prob so I doubt I will when my Xbox comes home in 21 days. Plus P2s do scratch games.

It's funny how Devil May Cry doesn't advertise all of the XBoxes that are working successfully. But rather, he shows a couple of Kiosks in which it's possible that they could have been hooked up wrong or possibly tampered with.

Not only that, but, Devil May Cry also fails to provide information about failed PS2 or GameCube kiosks around the nation, which are also, most-likely, tampered with or hooked up incorrectly as well...as both of those systems are also solid machines, admittingly. (I'm just being reasonable, though, I am strictly an XBox fan).

I don't know about you people but the 3 or 4 units out of 10,000 is not to bad, well its not bad when you put it next to the PS2 which had about 10% launch units F*** up in Japan, about 5% in the US.

I guess ill be the one explaining the problems with the Xbox kiosks at Toys R Us. Firstly those are not regular old xboxes, they are specially rigged. They are tied in with a tv that is also especially rigged (you cant turn off the tv by pressing the buttons). We had problems with our kiosk also but all it is is a defective connector cable that connects to the tv. And remember there is no harddrive caching with the games (or at least demo disc). Secondly, wouldnt it be nice to turn on your tv and xbox by flipping a switch? It is but thats not reality, just remember that everything is different from what you have seen. Even the box that is empty that you see everywhere is different from the real one (or at least the box the kiosk xbox).

One comment CyberBomb. If one buys the dvd remote for xbox, that would tell me that the xbox could be "switched on" with it, is that right?. If it can, then that means I can then program the xbox remote signal into my RM-AV2100 Remote Commander (that I use to control my AV system).

hmm, just a thought. Thanks for the "possible" tip.

but then again if the playstation 2 and the game cube had a baby it would be a playstation cube or maybe a gamestation cube.
