What the heck is up with xbox live???

Ive been jonesing for news as far as beta testing and launch dates goes, but it has been bone dry lately! I thought beta testing was supposed to begin this month. But here it is the 12th already and not one peep from anyone about it. And I don't believe that there are beta testers out there right now who are bound by some non-disclosure agreement. How easy would it be for them to anonymously post on some message board? Pretty easy. I hope we get some news on this very soon.

if you go to gamespot or ign and search around a little you'll find them reporting on playing nfl fever 2003 online last week. but yea i havent heard nething about the beta test w/10,000 ppl that was supposed to start this month.

Yall, you and me both. I am getting so damn inpatient with XBL too, it's driving me nutzzz.....

For what I have heard and understand XBL is still in beta with the press and some publishers, until that is completed we most likely won't see or hear of anything....Be patient it will soon be here :D

I also doubt that the beta testers will be bound by NDA's, I would think that MS would want as much hype they could generate before the B$G holiday shopping season....who know's I could be dead wrong....

actually I wouldn't post anything about Xbox Live beta testing from my own computer if I was a beta tester...

They can easily get your IP address from posting on the forums and trace it directly back to you.

Now are they gonna monitor every board in the world.. highly unlikely... Will board moderators report you to MS? Maybe? I don't know :)

I just want the full launch of xbox live to happen already! hehe especially with the football games coming out next month...

However I wish MS would tell us more instead of just what its gonna be like i WANT SCREENSHOTS AND VIDEOS. I saw the vid with darkmaster and all and would also like to know why if you buy the package from a store would we have to type in a credit card number afterwards when we set up xbl I mean wouldnt we have already paid for it at the store? Why wouldnt the package be already hot (INITIALIZED) after buying it from EA or some game shop.. I mean they can have it behind the glass so noone would steal it right?? Anyway thats just my 2 cents.

Dude the credit card is to pay for the monthly payment once you 12 month subscription is up..

Also we dont' know how long this XBL Starter kit is gonna last...
Say after a month there isn't anymore to buy with 12 months subscription, so people coming in on the 2nd month is gonna need to pay monthly right away...


And it would be nice if they would give us alittle more on it...
