all of the games on my list vary from what I am in the mood for. I go for weeks loving a certain game.

these are what Ive played...

Ive played DOA3, Hunter, and Outlaw Golf... Sold Hunter, traded DOA3, and rented Outlaw Golf... I didnt really give Outlaw Golf a chance... to enthralled by Morrowind:D But the other 2 which I find on many peoples list just didnt live up. DOA3 is beautiful but gets boring after 1 night and Hunter sucked up completely... R, R, R..... R... and then you can hit x i think if you get surrounded over and over and over:rolleyes: just doesnt live up in my opinion... but if you like these games more power to ya!

BS, it's the game that makes people think it's the greatest. Heck, I can let Halo defend itself and it wins hands down without us talking about it. The fact that so many people talk about it so much only makes a game like it having a fan following. Bah, lets face it. X-Box isn't exactly the top (mostly liked) console and Halo ain't exactly the game that gets alot of publicity (c'mon, alot of people just have a vague notion of what really is) so it's more under rated then it is over rated. I'm not kidding. I can honestly say that atleast 60% of console gamers don't know much about Halo. Oh and PC? All the guys I know are looking forward to Unreal 2 and DOOM III and don't give a crap about Halo coming out on PC. I look forward to all 3 games with U2 coming out on top.

and that's the truth. Thats why I believe that Halo falls short of first place considering a few things. One, no multiplayer bots. If you are alone and want to play the game and already exhausted the missions, then tough luck i guess...also, lack of weapon variety. Of course there's the usual, assault rifle, pistol, rocket launcher, etc. Although the Needler is cool, it's one of the few effective alien weapons, the rest are crap. Missions get boring after several trips thru. Alot of multiplayer options, which is one of the things that makes it a good game.

NHL hitz has fantastic gameplay, it never gets boring. Somethin new and exciting will always happen in ever game, which makes it one of the best games out.

But if it was graphica that made games good, Enclave would be #1. :D

Personally, I prefer games with some depth and challenge. So here are my 5 favs:

1. Halo - great solo, terriffic multiplayer
2. PGR - great solo, terriffic multiplayer
3. Amped - great solo, essentially no multiplayer
4. DOA3 - weak solo, excellent multiplayer at high skill levels
5. Outlaw Golf - great solo, great multiplayer

Honorable Mention: JSRF - very deep, fun, good solo and multi

Most Overhyped: Morrowind. Buggy. Lack of any challenge whatsoever. No fun unless you aspire to work for UPS or FedEx. Graphics are great only if you believe elves to be the direct decendants of insects.

1) Halo - Just when I thought I got bored of it... I changed my mind pretty quickly after blowing a few flood guys up...
2) Rallisport Challenge - I love the fact that a Saab is one of the last unlockable cars!
3) Tony Hawk 3 - The girlfriend likes this one, so I play it quite a bit... Lots of stuff to do, great gameplay.
4) Amped - Great concept, very different and original. Not like Tony Hawk but in a good way. (I tried button maching like on THPS3, can't count how many times I landed on my head)
5) Morrowind - Huge game. Just a huge game. I'd have to quit my job to finish this thing. Which I still might do...!

Not too many people are crazy about dead to rights?

How in the h*ll do I get out of the Black Orchid after that asian chick kills Silt? And why in the H*ll is it so hard to kill those chicks with the guns (who just keep on coming)? I've been stuck on that level for 2 days now. It's very frustrating.
Please help me - I really don't want to use a code to get past it.

Are you guys talking about the first Prison Level? The one where you have to armwrestle Strong Arm Tony. That was frustrating for me too.

1. Halo - It would be a great FPS with just single player but add multi and you get the greatest game ever!

2. Morrowind - An immense world that could only be brought to life through the skills of the talented Bathseda team.

3. DOA3 - Graphically and technically the best fighter out there

4. NHL Hitz 20-02 - I'am just throwing this in for the kick a** multi-player

5. Turok Evoultion - I cringe at putting this one even on my list but you just can't get better weapons i.e. Nuke Attachment

Morrowind had potential. I was REALLY hyped for it. I played it for at least 20 hours. Just got bored as hell, do anything I want... sounds great but utilizes no challenge whatsoever.

Halo is the only game I would (and did... technically twice) buy the Xbox for.

Favorites:

Dead or Alive III - But only multi-player. If you're playing by yourself, you'll be bored in 15 minutes. If you're playing with friends, the game goes on forever!

Jet Set Radio Future - Fun, fun, fun, and I love the graphics style. One of the few games I beat before I got bored. If you haven't tried it, go rent it.

Hitman II - So far, anyway. Loving it!

I'm saving slots 4 & 5 for one of many games I'm drooling over being released in the next 2-3 months. Ninja Gaiden? DOAX? Splinter Cell? Unreal? Ego/Fable? Can anyone say Merry XXX-mas??!

My Shouldabeens:

Spiderman the Movie - Loved it for a couple of hours, then started hating the little themed levels. Controlled direction in web-slinging sucks.

Morrowind - Fun for a long time, but more obsessive fun than glee. Got bored when I leveled too fast. Crashes didn't help.
