I'm in Baltimore, MD with a router and one crossover/system link cable. Trying to set something up soon. Anyone interested?

Cross over cable/System Link (Same cable actually) are no good with a router anyway for a LAN party anyway - need normal Ethernet cables for that.....

Oh. Well I have one Cat5 cable also. Anyone know if there is a forum for this or where else to go to find people?

You can this site. The site is fairly new so the listings may be fairly small in your area, but it's the only site that I now that is organized.
