What is the difference between an xbox japanese version vs the american version. I know all the games over there are in japanese but what i am wondering is can you play a game bought in america on a japanese system?

donno about japan, but europe has a difforent voltage, and a difforent tv sys. (i brought a tape once and it only got the sound so i had to go to a store to get it converted). basically it would be like a ps game on a dreamcast

I would think, yes. I know a dude that is going to buy an XBox who currently owns a PS2 (he's one of those extremely hardcore gamers who buys every system so he can play all the games). He bought a game that is only released in Japan and not in America...the only thing he says that sucks is that all the language is in Japanese and he doesn't know what the hell to do in the game!
