View Full Version : 100 hz tv ..is it going to smear? ?

hi

my firend have a 100 hz tv, and I was wandering if I will connect the Xbox to the tv will the gfx smear ..?
cuz when we see normal tv it does, but when we see dvd it doesn't ..so if I conect the box with svga will it go like the dvd and won't smear ? ? ?

yes and no it just depends on the connection for the XBOX and the TV, if you are using crap comosite rubbish or RF the screen will smear but it you use a SCART or a S-Video lead there will be no smearing anywhere. check the back of you friends TV to see if he can take the SCART lead it's a oblong with a lip at the end

the S-Video is just one step down from a True SCART, the SCART connection and the comosite lead (red, white and yellow = rubbish picture) you get in the box are rubbish go and buy a True SCART or a S-Video lead

True SCART= RGB
S-Video = Luminous & chrominance
