When you post news that says a certain title goes gold, what do you mean? At first I thought it was because it sold a *****load of copies, but now I'm thinking it means it is finished and ready to send to the manufacturer.

When a title goes GOLD, it means the title is fully finished. When two million copies are sold, the game/album has gone PLATINUM, as you may know from music.
