Ok all you UK Xboxers....I need your advice.

After having played these two games, which is more enjoyable for multiplayer. Enclave boasts 1-4; Gun metal 1-2
Can you play through the entire game with multiplayer (i.e. Halo co-op, Gauntlet), or are you limited to a quasi~game (i.e. 007 A.U.F., Halo deathmatch)?

These questions aply to non-UK Xboxers also....I just figure they would know hands-on.

Thanks all!!

I'm also trying to decide between the two games, although I'm more interested in single player. How long are each of the games? Any replay value?

I hear that Enclave is roughly 20-40 hours (depending on how good you are, etc.) and it has some replay value due to 2 branching storylines.

being a good single player game is mandatory...being a good multiplayer game also will probably make the differnece to me in which I purchase.

that was one of my gripes with 00 A.U.F. (and conversely one of the bonus things I loved about Halo)... the multiplayer in AUF was pretty bad. The areanas were small...the characters too fast...and it bored me after an hour.

there is something special about going through a story with your buddy and giving a proverbial high five after pulling out all the stops to save each other's "bacon" and completing an objective!

whoa...way off topic :)

so....we need more info on these games...please help!

What the guy above said about Enclave's replay value and game length.

I hear Gunmetal is very short with each mission being doable in less than 30 minutes and theres not many apparently.

Gun Metal is a very hard game. Very hard. You need to have a knack switching weapons and strafing aswell as picking targets quickly. You also need to learn the controls of the plane which you don't use very often, but it's fun enough, especially when you take out ground units. Graphically I don't think it's anything great, and it looks like a PS2 game to me actually. Lengthwise... it is short but you will find youself having to play a level over and over again to complete it, it is a hard game. Ofcourse I am biased here since I wanted a long game and a fun game. Gun Metal is fustrating but fun, but it isn't long enough for me... so I guess Enclave would be a nice lengthy game if you are going to have to wait for Fall/Autumn for the more ahem, better games.

PS. I would love to get Morrowind, but it ain't out here yet. Fun games like Spiderman and Circus Maximus won't last me but I am thinking of getting them when they are really cheap. If anybody knows somewhere where I can get those two for a tenner... well, I'm from the UK so any directions welcomed.

EDIT. Enclave ain't a multiplayer. I don't know if you have to unlock the option, but right now, I can't get multiplayer option. The manual also doesn't have multiplayer option. Also Gun Metal ain't multiplayer.

Mulitplayer was removed from Enclave for some reason

The sequel will be multiplayer and support Xbox live according to the devs.

Thank you for your insight into the games. You are a real help!

Regarding no multiplayer...that is just sad :(
My girlfriend was longing for a good game she could play with me. We won Halo together, and were looking for another fix.

I guess I'll keep myself busy with Halo and Morrowind.....ok ok, who am I kidding, I'm going to break down and buy Enclave anyway.....damn non-multiplayer

Too bad games dont work across regions, I would probably set up trades with you.

take care all !!

I thought Gunmetal was supoposed to be multiplayer. :( Thanks for your review of the game however, because now I'm going to rent it first instead of going out and buying it. I was also debating between Enclave and Gunmetal and it looks like Enclave will win the battle.

Gun Metal would have kicked major ass if it was multiplay... co-op could let you save another thing from being attacked, while your buddy could cover your allies, so that you wouldn't have to divert your attacks. mission 3, Escort or the one with the convoy. like half-way there, you have save the re-energiser, but protect the convoy at the other side of the map. the convoy would end up gettin fragged... at least most of the time. but once i did save all 4 convoys and the helicoptors rained fire on those bastards.

Its only hard if you suck at it. Consequently...you must suck at it.

Both games are equally frustrating however I liked Enclave better. If you read EGM review of Enclave, they get everything right. There are some really long levels with no save points and instant-kills hits that are annoying and make you start the entire level over again =[. Tinny got everything right about Gun Metal. Also the levels in Gun Metal are about 10-20 minutes long, well at least until I stopped plaing it. Also the graphics in Enclave are awesome.

if your looking for multiplayer, Enclave does not have multiplayer, and neither does Gun Metal, i have no idea where you heard those things
