How do I find sponsors for tournaments?

I have a game store with a state of the art gamin lounge. We have four 53in. Sony HDTVs. They all have XBOX's and of course they're all linked. We run Halo nights twice a week and have been sold out at 16 people a night for 11 weeks straight. When XBOX Live comes out we are going to put the gamin lounge online. My question is, how do you get sponserships for tournaments?

Sounds like a cool place to hang... If you own a gaming store you should have all the info you need... I would hit up all the reps that come into your store to sell you product. Tell them what your looking to do and ask for a promotions contact for that company. That's where I would start. Then I would make a list of all companies game and non-game related and start to build relationships with those people. Make sure these companies have the same target market as you do... Keep asking around I would also see what type of interest you have in this sort of thing with your customers. Give you some good talking points when pitching this to a prospective donor or sponser...
