Oh, and to throw a little insight on you guys out there...I just moved into my new apartment, and unfortunately, only have dialup....:sad:

....But, I have found a light at the end of the tunnel. There are 6 other apartments in there, and I have managed to make a little deal with this programmer that has his own business down there, and Xbox :D . So I will be getting XBL, by using his DirectPC connection and hooking up a LAN in between our apartments, so yes everybody, there is a God, and his name is Xbox :)

I got it too. My heart skipped like nine beats when I saw that thing, after putting on a fresh pair of pants, I filled it out......God would they benifit by having soem loyal XBA boz on the tryout team..... GOOD LUCK ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder is it one or two from each state? Or what. I know what you mean by the name,,in a since. I would be ****ed if someone got my name. I would find that person and do not so nice things to them. I filled out the form at Xbox.com over a month ago. Unfortunately, I didn't recieve an email from XBL, yet.

Are they all being sent out today, or is it a week long thing? Also, the only thing we had to do is fill out the form at Xbox.com right, then had to wait?

I don't work for Xbox.com, so I dunno...but being the tech that I am...I would assume that they would spread it out in a few days, maybe a few weeks, being careful not to slam email servers. Also, this is only Phase 1 of the Beta Testing surveys, as it appears :confused:

Here's (http://www.xbox.com/LIVE/beta/) the link to sign up for it. I'm not sure if it's too late, but I do know that your profile on XBox.com has to be up to date, meaning your XBox has to be registered.

but i dont get something. if we get picked for the xbox live beta test thing. they say that we will get the package thingy (the thing that costs 50 bucks). but, do we still get 1 full year of free service? cause in the email, it says
"So you'll play
for nothing until the scheduled official launch in November 2002."

so that means, that when it launches, we have to pay? so we dont get anything for free, except for like 2 months of free service?? that sucks so much

NO, what they r saying is that u r playing beofre everyone else, when u pay the 50 bucks the year of service dont start untill XbL officially launches . . . . so the day XBL offically goes "live" is when your year of service starts like everyone else who signs up that day . . . so the 2 months or so that u played before is what u get for free and the games if they give u them for free

I GOT IT! Man this is intense. I really really hope I get beta xbl. If I don't I will have a nervous breakdown... Geeze I am so happy I got the email. I think it means you are pretty much a shoe in. Unless you didn't answer the servey right. I answered it truthfully and I think I am the kind of person they are looking for. My god... I won't be thinking of anything else untill I get that response email telling me I qualified. Maybe all the XBA'rs who get it should put -XBA at the end of thier name. I wonder how long B4 they let us know? I am checking my email every few sec. I have been trying to get them to quicken things up, by sending them little messages. Here is a example.

Dear, XBL I am so glad you picked me for your XBL finnals. I really want to be apart of the team. I want it so bad that if I am not chosen I will have to kill you and everyone at your work place; these are not idle threats, I do have refrences of people I have had to kill B4 for not picking me. 1) George D. a 7th grade class mate that thought I would be to weak to play dodgeball on his team. 2) Janis J. the lady that did my first job interview ever, at Mc Donalds. and there are others, soon to be Ninja from XBA for acting out all the time. So in conclusion, pick me or die! :eek:
