Whats up with Gentlemen Jim?

Fellow Morrowind addicts,

I'm not sure what's up with Gentlemen Jim Stacy. I'm doing his Balmoral (sp) --purple glove quests--and suddenly he's saying "Go do what the Bal Morang (sp) would do." No details...just that.

???

Also, I've been doing his other quests (under 'jobs'), but I can't continue until I'm MasterTheif Status.

Is this happening to me cause I'm playing both sides? (I'm part of the Fighters Guild too...just a speculation...)

If he's not giving you anymore to do you've probably finished them. There aren't really very many of them, and it doesn't advance you at all in the thieves guild, just a couple of little side quests.

As far as getting to Master Theif, check to make sure your levels are high enough to advance. If not, go practice your skills and you will be promoted.
