First off, let's see if Microsoft has announced any plans on a keyboard. If anybody got news on this please post. Thankyou.

Secondly, having a keyboard doesn't automatically give you a mouse with it. I am not looking for a Keyboard and Mouse combo, just a keyboard ok?

I am sick and tired of people who say that the keyboard for X-Box Live is a lame idea.

Listen, the keyboard might be lame for you, but for some people, it's there only means of communication via XBL and frankly, they ought to have communication in XBL then none at all. Alrigght, most of you guys are going to use the Communicator, and thats is faster and better then the keyboard. That is true. However, how can you state that the keyboard is lame when it will clearly be a optional form of communication ingame. You do not have to buy a keyboard do you? So how can you state it's lame? Might be lame for you, but other people will need it so don't swat the idea of a keyboard being on XBL as being lame.

Oh and don't go on about the Communicator being a faster and better method of Communicating with tons of function. I think we have already cleared that up. The Communicator is cool. It is ideal for XBL. And I will be using it. I just want you idiots to stop shouting out how the keyboard will ruin XBL. Can you do that?

Chill out man!

I want a keyboard/mouse combo for RTS and FPS games. Personally, I dont like to type while playing online games, as it takes my focus away from the game. Thats why I prefer the idea of the voice com.

If you want to use a keyboard for typing messages, thats fine. No one will tell you its a terrible idea, it just might not be the idea that some of us like.

I don't think its a bad idea either. And people who say it will make it too much like a computer are just idiots. Who cares!!!! But I was thinking what about people who are deaf. Will what the people are saying come up on the screen in words or will it just be voices. Because for people who are dead it would really suck for.

true. the keyboard would be really good. especially if it came with a mouse. typing during a game is really easy. like when im playing cs, i just like hide somewhere and type some stuff in. lol

alright smarta$$ hahahaha

Just look right above it and you'll see the word deaf. That's what I meant. I mean if someone was deaf they wouldn't have anyway of talking to anyone unless they actually did have a keyboard.

I don't want a keyboard or mouse for xbox, unless it's to communicate or surf xbox live updates and info. I don't want pc keyboard games in my xbox at all, or I would just buy them on pc. However, it's good to be able to type during a game (with other players). It wouldn't be bad to have an xbox chat site either. In fact, it might be more enticing to play online games by chatting with online players. Some of us are leery, cos we are old and suck at games (in general). I'm referring to myself :p I would be more likely to finish Halo online as opposed to offline, but is that even going to be on xbox live?
