Servay??? Evidently a 5th grade education isn't a requirement to be considered as a beta tester. :D

I only got the first... SUCKS to be me... I answered the questions like any gamer would.. Play 11+ hours a week so forth. The only thing I can think of is that I deleted it by accident... Did the 2nd have a similar subject line like the 1st did?

Alright!
You made it to the last and final survey of the much-anticipated and ridiculously intense Xbox™ Live Beta Test.
Because Xbox Live is still in development, it may be bumpy or even unruly. (But don't say we didn't warn you.) We're relying on your participation and feedback to make improvements, iron out any snags, and tell us which features are the best. You're building Xbox Live right along with us.
Follow the link below to get started on the final survey. Once again, you'll be notified by e-mail. This survey determines the final cut and your fate.
Oh, and did we mention that one of the Beta games is NFL™ Fever 2003? It's exclusively enabled for Xbox Live, only during the Beta Testing period.
to find out your gaming fate and take the final survey.
Or copy and paste the link into your browser.
Thanks, and see you online.
--Xbox Live Beta Selection Team
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you're chosen to be on the Beta Team, you must purchase the Xbox Live Beta Starter Pack for $49.95 to participate. With the Beta Starter Pack, you get one year of Xbox Live's intense gaming service, Communicator headset and module, setup DVD, handy reference guide, Beta game(s), including the prerelease, online-only version of NFL™ Fever 2003, and more. To say thanks for playing and participating in the Beta, we're throwing in some additional high-speed game play, on us. So you'll play for nothing until the scheduled official launch in November 2002.
An online-only version of NFL™ Fever 2003 can be played exclusively during the Beta Testing period. Xbox Live is scheduled to be available in the U.S. in November 2002.

I find it strange to note that only people who had technical trouble didn't get the 2nd email. I'm starting to wonder if this is in fact a beta test... MS keeps reffering to it as a Consumer Beta Test... and look at the massive amount of hype that's been generated by it....
As far as I can tell nearly EVERYONE got the 2nd email and this poll bears that out. I think it's a clever marketing spin by Microsoft to gauge interest, test their servers and most importantly, generate a MASSIVE buzz over the service.
All of the Xbox forums have lit up lately, hell, we brought down teamxbox's forums. Microsoft must be aware of that, and I surmise that it's been their intention from the get go.
I won't be suprised to wake up tommorow to see everyone in here posting: I GOT IT!!! I GOT THE THIRD EMAIL!!
Now, don't get me wrong, I've got no problem with it. Good on Microsoft, and if it gets me gaming three months sooner, all the power to them.

You know I was thinking that too after the second email and after reading the questions this all looks more like a very clever marketing ploy they say the beta testers will be picked all the way up till the official launch. And that it will have 30,000 testers or 30,000 walking advertisments. =)

if it rocks half as hard as it looks like it will, I have no problem being that walking advertisement .
