what is this XBOX LIVE?

Hey guys wats up? i keep reading all this stuff about Xbox Live and how you can play online wiht it,well if anyone has it can you tell me about like how you hook it up to a broadband and how much it cost, and does electronic boutique sell it? and if you do have it wat games are able to go online and do you like it? if so just reply becasue im interested in getting it but i dont know how it is so just fill me in. i cant belive you dont know what xbox live is:confused: well ummm just go to this sitehttp://www.xbox.com and try to find something that says xbox live and click on it:)

That aside, I'll do a quick run-down for ya.

1. The xbox comes with an ethernet port on the back. Plug it in (when it goes live) Aside from having to purchase the software/communicator that's about it.

2. There will be an initial offering of $49.95 for the communicator, 1 game (revolt), and 1 year subscription

3. Yes EB will be selling the package when it goes live

4. There are around 13? launch titles. For a complete list go to xbox.com or check out OXM.

5. No one has it yet, they are in the middle of the beta selection process. EB doesn't start selling the package till Nov., so that might be a good estimate for release. BTW, I'm pretty sure registration for beta is closed so you'll have to wait. Of course, you might still want to give it a shot. Check it out at xbox.com
