The Thing, Does anyone plan on buying it?

I know "The Thing" has not been released yet but have been seeing previews of it on tv and it looks pretty awesom. I might get it because I thought the movie was cool and I like survival horror games.Just wondering if anyone here plans on purchasing it or is everyone got there heart set on just getting online games for X Box live?

Im thinking about getting it, it seams pretty cool. And im not sure but I don't think theres gonna be anymore Live games out until November, unless NHL2K3 comes out in October like GameInformer said.

I'm getting the Thing. They showed the movie last night, and I remember now how good it was. The PC The Thing got pretty good reviews. I hope the game is creepy enough to freak out my lady. She likes those kind of games...

Hell yeah I'm gonna get it! I pre-ordered DTR, and its giving me a fit, several times I have cussed it out due to its inexplicable hardness in some places! Lol, oh well, better keep working on it, I'm trying to beat the s*** out of Horse now....

I'm getting it tonight, and I'm renting the movie at the same time. I plan on watching the movie and then playing the game, since I've never seen the movie. I won't pay $20 for a movie I haven't seen, but I will pay $50 for a game I haven't played... hehe... I do do research first, though. I pretty much trust the reviews at IGN, and they gave The Thing an 8.3. I was always a fan of Resident Evil and was bugged that gamecube got RE instead of our beloved XBOX, so hopefully this is close.

At one point, the pre-order did come with the DVD. Not sure if it still does. But I'd check it out Colon, since you could get a free movie w/ the game and thus save yourself the 3.95 or whatever on renting it.

I really like the movie, but have just seen too many bad movie games to pre-order this bad dog. If it's good, I might have to break my no buying non - XBL games rule (along with Turok)

I got it yesterday, and really am enjoying it. It was very diffent than I thought it was going to be. Requires a lot of interaction with your squad members (AI team). I in about four levels so far and think it is playing really well.
