You'll get store credit... probably 18 or 20 bucks for max payne. Better off selling it to a friend or on ebay...

I think you can trade in 3 games for one new game.

depends on the game. a game that is still hot will get you about $25-30 in store credits. At the opposite end of the spectrum, for a game that is totally cold (like sport games when the new version comes out) they will give you $5 of store credits.

That is the usual way it works there. Sometimes though they offer special little deals. I was able to "buy" NFL2K3 by putting two games down to reserve the game. So, I turned in two games I was no longer interested in and got one HOT new game. To me, it was a great deal.

Also, remember this.....EB will allow you to return a game within 14 days and exchange it for another game. They allow you to do that one time with each purchase. That is a great policy.

Robnyack is right, I traded in NBA2K2 and Knockout kings for NFL2K3. He is also right about old games that aren't hot. I traded in NFL Fever 2002 and WWF RAW for 18 bucks. And the 14 day policy is great, I bought NCAA2K3 and hated it, I traded it back in for Street Hoops which is a really sweet as$ game to me. So I think shoping at EB is smart because you will never get stuck with a sh!!ty game. :)
