I logged on (after getting home late yesterday) about 10:00 p.m. I did not play Revolt but I played Fever a couple of times.

1. Set up: very very easy. Great interface and futuristic. Setting up your account is a breeze. Good job.

2. Gameplay: I played two games of Fever and the first game is said connection not optimal but we decided to play anyway. There was NO lag at all!! Very smooth. The second game we had good connection and the guy was in Seattle and I was in Vegas and again, no problems. (it really all depends on if you play with a good connection).

3. Voice: There was noticeable lag. However, the quality on my two games was BETTER than a digital phone. It only cut out maybe two times total.

4. VoiceMasking: You can't hear yourself on the other end (sometiems you can when it echos) but you therefore can't hear yourself masked. The other two guys I played one used Robot -- which sounded neat but different and the other guy used his real voice. I tried the Robot and the guy said it sounded "kewl."

5. Headset: uncomfortable. you can't rest your head on the couch or your lazy chair because your wear it behind your head!!! Bad design. Also the ears start to hurt after a while.

6. OVERALL: very good, fun, and smoother than a baby's but for a Beta right now. Much better than Dreamcast.

another guy just told me that the headset is very comfortable and that there was no lag in the voice. he did say Fever had some lag. so i guess right now it's different for different people.

Yeah, but I'd MUCH rather pay the $50.00 for broadband only, virtually lag free gaming. Also, look what happened to Sega:rolleyes:

I heard same thing and different things. I think you're right...it all depends really on your connection.
