Does the Live Starter Kit have a memory card included? I have seen several pics that include an orange plastic thing that looks like a memory card???

I see now. I couldn't actually find any descriptions that stated you get a memory card, but from the pics it showed one. Also, I couldn't figure out why they wouldn't list it if it were included.

You don't get the commemorative orange memory card in your Xbox Live Starter Pack, unless you purchase the beta testers' edition, and that too is $49.95+ tax/s&h and only available to official XBL beta testers.

So if I never become a Beta tester, I'm gonna have to waste more money on a f*cking memory card?! I really hope it's an option to save on the mem. card or not. Because I really don't want to buy one.

Yes, it's an option. All your Live Subscription data will be saved to the Hard Drive. Memory cards will now be good for only 2 things:

1) Bring a save to a friends house for use on their Xbox

2) Bring your personal Xbox Live account to a friends house for use on their Xbox
