The tv has component inputs so it will accept the HDTV pack component video plugs.

But, will that buy you anything? Most games can display at 480 progressive using component inputs. There are no games available that display at 720 lines for the Xbox yet.

I don't know what the VPort connection is or if you need a special VPort cable and what does that buy you?

In short, it does accept Component video, but I don't know if its worth it on that tv...

You should research it more on RCA's website.

alright, I looked at the online manual on that tv. The vport lets you hook the xbox directly to the tv and an external component device such as a DVD player. You have to buy the Vport cable separately.

Just to clarify, Steet Hoops Basketball supports 720p. It the first game to do so for the Xbox.

As for that RCA tv, it is more marketing vs technology.

The samsung syncmaster 151MP/171MP or the new 241MP/211MP monitor/HDTVs.

they are fairly cheap, and they have svideo, vga, and COMPONENT inputs!!!

i am going to grab myself a 151MP or something when i have the money.
