Tekki (Xbox, Capcom): 9 / 9 / 9 / 10 (37/40)

Booya!! We all knew it would be a great game but damn! AAA title right there. Can't wait to check it out.

Thats Steel Batalion right? Well, I gotta say thats an excellent score and Famitsu are notoriously hard to please. I heard somewhere that Halo only got 32 or something (which is still a good mark)

If it is steel batallion, I'm not too surprised. It looks like a great game. Being a huge mech fan it's a must buy for me unless it really is $250 USD.

I'd probably be willing to pick it up for $150 though. Guess I'm not that big of a fan if I won't pay $250, but come on, that's just ridiculous. Won't happen unless I hit the lottery, win big in Vegas, or somehow manage to get a good paying job.

was posted on the front news page on this site recently that an email to capcom came back with "probably won't be 250 bucks".

so i would expect it to be less, let's wait to see.

famitsu giving it 37/40 is NUTS considering halo only got a 32. they are VERY hard to please. 37 means this is a "greatest games of all time" score.

I'm guessing that the scores are for:

Graphics
Gameplay
Sound
Lastability/Playability

Care to tell us which is which? (Did Halo really get 32? Well that still is a pretty good score...)

Consider the fact that the Japanese have never accepted FPS games.

Is this from the weekly Xmag or the Monthly Multi Famitsu?

Thats where I got it from

I think they review by an Overall scale not by Graphics, sound etc..

...Why is it seperate from the other Famitsu scores? Is there a seperate mag for Famitsu for the XBOX or soemthing?

Didn't they also give DOA3 39/40?

I don't trust their reviews at all, if this is the case.

Well Dead or Alive games are big in Japan. I bet you that DoA: XV will get a great score in Famitsu as well.

Yeah, Those big breasted girl games and sims that have weird controllers always sell there.

There is a monthly Multi Console Famitsu and a Weekly XBOX one...or the other way around...someone will know...

The score appears to be from the XBOX mag.
