Bigger than the 32" TV I posted earlier, but not a TruFlat design...

Again, they may not honor this price.

There not going to honor this because they would lose alot of money if they did!!

You are probably right, but maybe we'll get a Gift Certificate out of the deal.

I ordered mine. What do I have to lose? I don't even need a new TV. Maybe I'll stick this 36" in the bathroom so I can watch Oprah while voiding my bowels. That seems appropriate.

well, I ordered both of them and my boss ordered one of them. Guess we will see how it comes out. It does kinda suck about that cancellation part. I was hoping to get a gift certificate if nothing else. :)

I bought the exact model at Best Buy and paid $749 last month.
It kicks ass. The remote for the TV runs the Xbox DVD kit. The sound is awesome with the simulated sorround and the picture is sharp. The only thing is the Xbox vport cable comes separetley.
I'm hooked up with the S-video cable right now, but I don't know which would be a better picture. S-Vid, Vport or the YPrPb hook up.

The TV actually ways 190 pounds which severly limits what kind of stand you can get. It took a week to find anything within reason to put it on. I ended up getting a pedestal at Sears and it just barely fits on there but it can take the weight. And yes, I had the deliverymen (3 of them) get that thing up the 3 flights of stairs to get in my apartment. I had to pay 20 bucks extra to get it delivered because I don't have a car big enough (not even my sedan) to get that puppy home.

I have to admit, it's a great TV.

Vport, and Component (YPrPb) are the same thing, and both are better than S-Video. I'd go with Vport, so you'll have less wires cluttering up the back of your TV.

Groovy, thanks. I better take back that monster s-vid cable back. Wish I would have asked that before I bought it.

Well, I had ordered 1 of the 32" flat screens and 1 of the 36" tvs at the low price...unfortunately, 1 day after receiving confirmation of the orders, Amazon cancelled both the orders and did not offer any type or gift certificate or coupon...

or well, it was a great find and worth the shot....

Thanks Hugh...

thats B.s.

first make them show proof ..some sort of disclaimer or something that says they are not responsible for typos of that nature...and even if they DO do that....who cares...raise a big stink...i guarnetee if u conduct yourself properly...you'll be walking away with something.

They actually do have a nicely written disclaimer that says exactly what they need it to say to avoid this sort of circumstance. They have themselves covered legally.

At the bottom under "Confirming Prices"

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/browse/-/468502/qid=1033073833/sr=1-6/002-6351496-4473606

"If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before shipping or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation."

It doesn't matter how much you complain, and how professional you conduct yourself, I can't imagine them willing to take a 90% loss on each of the two TVs I ordered.

Oh well, not the end of the world. I didn't actually expect to get the TVs. Just thought we all might get lucky.

I'm not really big on this sort of behavior... I mean, most if not all of us knew that it was a typo mistake of some sort when we ordered it.. so, I don't think complaining and making a big fuss about it is right. If they were offering up something on their own volition, as a consolation, I would take it.. but complaining until you get something sort of feels like Whining.. which is what I try to tell my 3 year old not to do... besides, while you might get something short term.. in the long run.. the consumer pays for it when Amazon.com increases thier prices to make up for thier losses..

Thats just my opinion...

That's just my opinion...
