I just got my e-mail today saying I am in.

Nothing yet. Just got off the phone with MSFT support. It seems their servers are a little slow in replicating so anyone that got the e-mail this morning may have to wait until this afternoon to order.

Welcome to the Xbox Live beta program! Here's some tips to help you get started...

The standard delivery time is 3 business days. If you choose, you can select a faster method at additional cost.


A confirmation email will be sent immediately after you place your order. Another email will be sent containing a UPS tracking number up to 2 business days after you have placed your order. If you want to check on your order status, please contact eCustomerCare and login with the username and password that you created when you placed your order.

The forums are not currently password protected, but the rest of the beta site is only accessible to official beta testers. There's a 2 business day delay from the time that you order your pack to the time you can access the private areas of the site.

We've been having some issues with disc manufacturing and are trying to iron them out. If you receive a faulty disc, please call support at 1-800-4MY-XBOX (1-800-469-9269) and they'll arrange to send you a new one.

Don't believe this guy people. Robphillips, a forum user, pointed out that Devil did the same thing on the 23rd when the EMAILs came out. Devil is just trying to stir things up.

Check out my other post. That thing on the 23rd was a screwup by Microsoft which I explained. As a matter of fact there was another person in the original thread that had the same validation problem as I did. It's amazing what you people will go through to ensure yourselves you still have a chance. Keep in mind, know matter where you imagination is taking you, are we are talking about here is a game.

Will normal print screen button work. I am print screening from Lotus Notes which may be a little different. It seems to print in text and not html. Would you accept an attachment if I can get the correct formatting?

dude, listen up. hit print screen. then open ms paint. then click paste. then save it. then upload it. it's not so difficult. even then i'd be skeptical since i could easily find the same email on the internet and do the same thing.

you want me to believe you? forward me the email. i'd be glad to give you my email address. and it's funny that out of 3 forums i've visited you're the ONLY person that has mentioned getting this email.

Also Devil, you say you recieved it today? Then why does the date at the top say August 29th. Something just doesn't add up here.

My guess is that the server kicked the e-mails out after midnight. That date is only when the document was authored. It has nothing to do with when they e-mail it.

It looks legit but it's a order confirmation page. I thought you said that you got an acceptance letter today.

I think I cut off the bottom of the image where it shows a link to get the beta pack. It's not an order page because i've never ordered before. If it's an order page why would it say that a confirmation e-mail would be sent after my order was placed.
